Dave Medal photography is committed to making the most important day of your life fun and enjoyable.

My approach to photography is pretty simple. The less my subjects are aware of me, the better my pictures will be.

Dave's love for photography started in his early teens. He started out taking photos of friends surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. Later, he began documenting his travels through Europe and Central and South America. After graduating from San Jose State University were he majored in Graphic Design and minored in Photography, Dave assisted a very established and talented photographer. While assisting, Dave worked throughout the Bay Area covering over 200 weddings and learning the ins and outs of the business.

I have my dream job and really enjoy what I do. And that fun and excitement about my job really comes across in my work.

One of Dave's strengths as a photographer lies in his ability to create a relaxed and comfortable setting for his subjects. Capturing his subjects when they are most themselves produces results that can be seen in the satisfaction of his clients and in the images themselves.
